He was having pain in his fingers. Situations got worse in the next few days to the extent that he almost lost the ability to walk. Some months down the line, subsequent testing revealed a different perspective: the prevailing pain was because of diminished Vitamin D levels and elevated uric acid levels.
When Anurudh got the wrong diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, he realized that regular medical tests might not be right all the time. Mishra felt the need for a new approach. This would make use of individual variations and population-specific parameters.
Because of this problem, Anuruddh Mishra decided to start a journey to change healthcare. Mishra and his partner Anand Rao started a mission to use technology for creating personalized health cards.
