Aliste Technologies was born out of a common struggle faced by two college roommates at Vellore Institute of Technology. Dissatisfied with the available products in the market, they took matters into their own hands and along with 4 other friends founded Aliste Technologies.

Aliste Technologies was founded by Anant Ohri, Aakarsh Nayyar, Bhavya Kansal, Konark Gautam, Udit Pandoh and Shreyansh Jain in 2018 with personal investments of Rs. 20 – 25 lakhs. The startup offers simple yet powerful devices that seamlessly connect with your existing switchboards, transforming regular appliances like ACs, TVs, fans, and lights into smart appliances. With their intuitive mobile application and compatibility with voice assistants like Alexa and Siri, controlling your home becomes effortless and energy-efficient.

Even though they were grateful for the chance they decided to turn down the offer because they wanted to make sure they were valued fairly.
In its seed round of funding on January 21, 2023, Aliste Technologies raised Rs. 12.5M 100X.VC. The startup is also backed by Dholakia Ventures and DB Ventures.
